Outpatient Services

Multilingual Psychotherapy Centers, Inc. Outpatient Therapy Program services are provided to children, adolescents, adults and families in a clinic setting as well as in the community if the need arises. A wide range of services are organized within a comprehensive therapeutic environment that includes assessment, diagnostic determination, individual, couples,  family counseling, crisis intervention, group counseling, linkage to TCM, psychiatric and psychological services, educational programming, and referral to community resources.  The overall goal of Multilingual Psychotherapy Centers, Inc. Outpatient Therapy Program is to maximize strengths and reduce behavior problems/functional deficits stemming from the existence of a mental health disorder that interferes with the recipient’s personal, familial, educational, vocational, or community adjustment. Multilingual Psychotherapy Centers, Inc. Outpatient Therapy Program seeks to improve mood and affect in daily living, to improve social and familial adjustment and integration, increase functioning levels and reduce the need for higher level of care.

Eligibility

Multilingual Psychotherapy Centers serve children, adolescents and adults who are eligible for Medicaid/Medicaid HMOs (Humana, Prestige, Molina, Clear Health Alliance, Freedom Health, Sunshine, Magellan Complete care, CMS/Concordia). We also accept Healthy Kids, Child Net Funded and self-pay clients/patients.

Referral Form

Multilingual Psychotherapy provides therapeutic services in the home or office, case management services, psychiatric and psychological services through their diversity, in an appropriate manner, culturally and linguistically.

  • Phone: Choose Option #4 (For new patients or returning for services).
  • Online: Complete and summit a MPCI Referral Form
  • Fax: Complete, print and fax the MPCI Referral Form to 561.712.8070

Intake/Screening Process

Your first appointment scheduled will be with a therapist for the screening process. The screening will provide:

  • Mental health screening
  • Assessment of the level of care
  • Evaluate the level of functioning
  • Determine the person’s readiness for change
  • Identify and meet cultural and linguistic needs

Forms needed for the screening appointment(copies are accepted)

  • Identification of guardian or self if adult
  • Insurance card
  • Birth certificate (if a child) or guardianship paperwork
  • Social security (if available)
  • Any doctors referral forms
  • Any other medical/behavioral forms that you may want us to have

Intensive Case Management

The primary goal of Targeted Case Management is to optimize the functioning of members who have complex needs by coordinating the provision of quality treatment and support services in the most efficient and effective manner. Targeted Case Management services include working with the member and the member’s natural support system to develop and implement the member’s service plan.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation services are intended to restore a recipient’s skills and abilities essential for independent living. Activities include: development and maintenance of necessary daily living skills; food planning and preparation; money management; maintenance of the living environment; and training in appropriate use of community services.

Psychological Services

A psychological evaluation is an assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of the recipient’s mental status or psychological conditions through the use of different testing methodologies. The recipient is assessed for treatment planning, clarification of diagnosis, school class placement, etc.
